EMC Security central monitoring station received a security system alarm from the home of a Lawrenceville customer. The alarm came from the basement door of the customer’s home at 10:43am. The monitoring center attempted to contac the customer and immediately dispatched the police. After attempts to contact the responding officer, we learned that nothing was missing from the customers home. Though there were signs of forced entry from the shattered door laying on the basement floor, the customer suffered no losses. The blaring siren had scared the burglars away. The alarm functioned properly and thwarted the burglars attempts at stealing the customers valuables. Please be sure to test your system regularly making sure the system, including the siren, is working properly.
